Given the burgeoning computational demands stemming from advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), our research goal is strategically poised to investigate and develop cutting-edge hardware systems designed to accelerate AI computing.

The main topics primarily include four areas: 1. Software-hardware co-design for optical neural network (ONN) computing systems (On-going). 2. Chaos-based scalable optoelectronic physical unclonable functions with AI-driven dynamic authentication (On-going). 3.Development of memristor-driven logic computing systems based on emerging two-dimensional materials (Published, securing new collaboration opportunities). 3. On-chip laser integration process and system-level applications incorporating with optical computing components.
